One of our most common questions here at Snap Junk Removal is whether we can take PAINT and some other garage chemicals like pesticides and paint thinner. Unfortunately we cannot haul this household hazardous waste. The landfills won’t accept it, and businesses such as ours are not allowed to take it to the local recycling centers. The follow up question our customers typically ask is: “where can I take it then?”. It’s not always easy to keep up to date on recycling center locations/hours/policies, but here is an update nonetheless:

A frequent concern with renting dumpsters and hauling trash is calculating how much the trash or construction debris weighs and whether the equipment you are using is adequate to handle the weight. I wrote this article to help answer some basic questions and estimate what common trash types weigh. Keep in mind that a cubic yard is 3ft long x 3ft wide x 3ft tall, a little larger than a washing machine. Our bigger trailers are 15 cubic yards, and our smaller ones are 7.5 cubic yards.
Not everyone needs a large dumpster to handle their junk and remodeling waste. That's why we decided to start offering a smaller dumpster at a more economical price. We are pleased to announce that we are now renting out our 7.5 cubic yard dumpsters for $200 plus tax, including drop off, pick up, and dump fees up to 2,000 pounds. This is lower price than you will find on any roll-off dumpster, and will fit more than a bagster from waste management, which is only about 3 cubic yards. Compare us to "Bull-bags" and you will find our rate is cheaper than them as well.
Are you in a hurry to get rid of that junk? No place to put it? Just throw it out on the curb and call us to come haul it off. We can get the credit card over phone when we are done. We do all the loading and heavy lifting. This picture is of some fencing and broken down pallets that one of our customers had us haul off out in Spring Texas 77379. Call us at 281-610-6682
The other week we got a call from a local home flipper who had completely gutted a 1300 square foot house. He just loaded all the stuff from inside the house into the garage, and we ended up taking three loads of waste. We hauled off all the sheetrock, cabinets, bathroom fixtures, vanities, toilets, and shelving from inside the house. He had already disposed of the flooring so we didn't end up taking any of that. All in all, it was about 45 cubic yards of trash for this 1300 square foot home. While this investor decided to do all the sheetrock, and other demolition him...
Just another example of some of the stuff we do. The other day we got a bunch of trash off the curb for some Real Estate Investors that had to evict someone from their property. Apparently they had to spend like 10 grand just to finally get the tenants out, but still had to get rid of all their trash. They took it out to the curb and then gave us a call. We hauled off lots of China cabinets and a mattress, several boxes of books, and some other random household trash.
